United Way Book Drive Donations
West Elementary School received a generous donation of books from United Way! The students were given books based on the recent Martin Luther King Jr. lessons and culturally relevant learning criteria. We want to thank United Way for their continued support in education.

Students Celebrate MLK Day
The school partnered up with United Way and had volunteers from Great Lakes Credit Union virtually read to students. Each grade learned the significance of the upcoming holiday through different books.

Shop With a Cop
Shop With a Cop
This past Saturday, December 5th, the City of Zion Illinois Police Department held Shop With a Cop at Walmart Zion. There were over a dozen police officers (elves) helping our students pick out gifts this year. Each student received $25 for every person in their families and themselves.
